Our greeters just wave us through, that's all. Some of the nicer older ones I wouldn't trust to untangle one for me without getting a heart attack. - Bob

Bob, a good "Greeter" should have a cart ready and waiting...
and if you need one, just hand it off to you...but if the store is extra busy thats not always possible - thats when it becomes "Dodge 'em Carts"..
..

from left to right my groceries get thrown
the cart with brakes no longer working
runs down hill smach to a car just parking!!!!1
need a cart to shop but they are not much fun.
