Re: I don't play, but what a wonderful take on the game of games you have
Thanks, Kabu. It's a thought I've been wanting to put into verse for a long time. - Bob

I don't play, but what a wonderful take on the game of games you have
portrayed here. Well done.

Re: CC, I have no head for chess. When I was a counselor in a summer camp
many years ago, every kid in the cabin I ran could always beat me. But I'd love a friendly game with you when
you come over for a visit, a couple of beers, and a visit to the botanical gardens. White goes first, but black pays. - Bob

Re: Chess emulates war; War emulates chess
Thanks for the visit and the comment. I'm a very poor player, myself. What I was trying to do was give some idea of what kind of person each might be, based on the rules of the game. In my reading, the king comes off pretty bad. - Bob

I would like to challenge you Bob I feel you would be a worthy opponent a skillful operator
under adversity. No pushing your choice forward and dragging it back. {I prefer black we are talking draughts.

Chess emulates war; War emulates chess
Srategy and tactics, facing down an adversary--entertaining except when the pieces that fall can't just come back for another game in an hour or so. This is the message that occurs to me, I don't know if it was what you intended.
