Too many people are uninsured. A solution of some kind has to be reached.

Whenever money is involved it will never be truly a universal concept in the fullest measure in my humble opinion! sam

My philosphy is that all people should be entitled to basic rights
including food, basic schooling, housing and basic health care.
In Australia we have health care for every citizen and it isn't perfect...but it is life saving and for all, and free. Yes there are long waiting lists for non life threatening surgery.
Then if you can afford, there is private insurance that isn't horribly expensive, nor can your insurer kick you out of the plan if you have a chronic illness. It will ensure private Dr, full private hospital and surgical cover, dental, eye care and many other add ons..well depending on the level of care that you pay for.
We pay for the free medicare in our taxes so the rich help the poor.

Straightforward, if it wasn't for government health insurance here in Canada, many Canadians would get no care at all. Granted - a government run health care system is not ideal...but at least it allows the children and elderly from low-income families to have access to doctors and hospitals when needed. Somebody is going to make money in any case...the doctors or the insurance companies...what counts is that health care be accessible to every citizen.

¹G? Oh my God I was thinking of what my girlfriend might think. However I made a typo by accident I assure you. I worry about our health. I’m sorry about that love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

¹G? I can’t believe that nutty Nixon submitted the British/Canadian type of health plan to the legislature. Surprisingly and politically tit was the Democrats that voted it down. Anything else’s what you say love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st
