When I feel the need to feel better than someone

I have been known to watch Real Housewives... which of course, the women spotlighted are anything but housewives--some of em can't find their way around a kitchen, and they pay help to vacuum and do the mundanities of child care--and by the quantities of cosmetics and cosmetic surgeries, as well as the quality of their genuinity...  'real' hardly applies except in the most ironic tones.  (No, they can't iron, either)

But taking into some account the shenanigans of directors and producers, and over time, it is possible to discern that on some days any particular woman (with a few jaw-dropping exceptions) are mean and dumb for cattiness and shallowosity, and other days they are sympathetic and likeable for kindness, creativity and fortitude.

It is a good classroom for compassion and neutrality, and getting down off my own moral high-horse.

I'm totally 'in accord' with Kabu's comment. Like the comparison to the hens - perfect!

Don't watch those shows or read gossip magazines.....I never liked
catty women and was always the last person at work to hear the gossip. I am very picky about favorite women ...you are of course right up there for me.
