The date of expiration on the check was 2012! It was issued in 2010. Go figure? I guess they were giving the state enough time to find me!!! That would be about 2 years!

WIll you be able to cash that cheque? Here in Canada the banks quibble if you try ot change it six months after the date on the cheque, but it's
for sure refused if it has been over a year since it was issued. They would insist on a new cheque, dated recent.

interest...compounded of course and also for personal damages....stress emotional dis connection and finacial deprivation.
