Well, like I wrote, I know there are some people who
do still find fun in searching for certain gifts for certain people. I was more or less referring to the
obligation people might feel to buy as much as they can for as many people as they can. The registry . . . yes, it does feel cold and materialistic. I still say gift cards are the way to go. And I wouldn't worry about the postman . . . he doesn't
always ring twice.

I am six of one and half a dozen of the other. the lazy side of me loves the register but it is cold and materialistic.
Christmas....I surf the net all year for different and quaint and individual gifts for those that i love and it is not a big expense and it is fun....and i can shop with love for one person in my heart.
I don't give the postman a gift...Wiley might wonder why i would. LOL
