It is set up... check my prompts blog at your convenience! And no, it was Quimby, and predates the Simpsons I am pretty sure!

Re: OMG! You too?
Maybe one day it will dawn on me why I wrote these down and what they may have been referring to, but for now, it's fun to just speculate on what they might have meant. Keep jotting down those ideas . . . you never know!

Are you sure it didn't say "Gumby?" Actually, the only "Quimby" that I know of is the mayor of Springfield on The Simpsons. Could that have been the reference? I guess only the artist would know. Go ahead . . . set up the anthology. I'll contribute!

OMG! You too?
I have a whole notebook filled with half sentences and ideas about articles. I try and write down as much as I can so I will remember it later. I know one time, when my hubby and I were shopping, I stopped walking with him, took out my note pad and started writing. I had stares from the other customers and my husband was three isles down from me! Good luck with those..I have no idea either.

I have one of those that I have been chawing over for years now...
I took note of something someone else wrote in spray paint on the side of a dilapidated corrugated steel building, at a derelict mine in the mountains north of Vancouver, BC--a place so fragile-looking, I was unwilling to step out of my van for fear of making things fall down. The painted note:
THIS IS THE RESULT OF A NIGHT OUT WITH QUIMBY
Maybe I should set up another anthology, inviting writers to contribute their own stories derived from this note. Yeah... I like this idea...
How about it...?

Re: now I could take one of those as a title and write a short story
Hey! No fair! Get your own titles!
Actually, like I wrote, I really don't know what these
thoughts were all about. Although I don't think a "short story" was on my mind when these
thoughts came to life, they could be now. We'll see what I can do with them ( I especially like
Harry's Grape Sandwich . . . I
could have fun with that! )
