So sorry to hear of this. It's amazing sometimes how a pet, any pet, can become such a huge part of the family, and its absence can be felt for quite a while. I hope you and your daughter are dealing with your loss as well as possible, and perhaps one day soon a "Riki" of your own will come and visit.

strange timing of this cat tale...
as my daughter has just suddenly, a couple of days ago, lost one of her cats who was at the vet just to get an x-ray. Apparently, his 13-yr old heart just gave out.
