What I admired most about this poem is its universality! Anyone reading it could see themselves, and on either side! For me that is a fine benchmark for a poem and this one is all that and more! So, C.C. I gladly tip my poetic hat to you! sam

"aight A sad anonymous poem un-posted to a lady....." This first sentence threw me off but I got the impression of real sadness in that poem.
