EVEN IN RETIREMENT I PERSONALLY CONTINUE TO WORK
NOT AT PAID WORK THAT SOMEONE YOUNGER NEEDS A JOB ....NO AT WRITING AND CARING FOR MY FELLOW WORLD CITIZENS AND LOVING AND IMPROVING MY ENVIRENMENT. WITHOUT WORK WE PERISH. THE VITAL EGO WITHERS AWAY.

Handouts are easy
I too have a friend who was diagnosed with something that would easily entitle him to either government assistance or disability, but refuses to take anything. He was born with a myriad of problems . . . his body's age has advanced rapidly ( he lost all of his hair and teeth before he graduated high school ), was born without pores or sweat glands, so his body has no natural way of cooling itself off, has terrible asthma, is allergic to just about everything food item under the sun, and has already dealt with two bouts of double-pneumonia and diverticulitis. When he was a child, specialists in New York felt he would not live past the age of 25. And yet today, he is 51, and still works every day as a parts delivery man for a Ford dealership! He has purpose, and a reason to get up every morning, along with benefits and a steady paycheck. No handouts for him!
