I am so sorry.
It's devastating when nature goes on a rampage and destroys, but when people do it, it's so much worse. Our whole world seems meaner, more dangerous and confusing. I hope you and your family are soon on the mend, and that the good people can pull their lives back together. Take care.

Seeing your pictures made it more of a rude reality than the images I watched on TV. I wonder what people are thinking (or not thinking) when they get into a rage like that.

some were as young as 8 yrs old....why would their parents let then out ...and do this? was the parents involved...it's unbelievable....it was happening all over london all different towns.....sickening...I want better for my children....I have applied to move.

Hi Justi ....thanks so much for your concern......
the children are fine....they go back to school on wednesday..... and I am hoping to get a new job - got a few interviews coming up at the end of this month fingers crossed .....I am ok financially as I have savings, so we are coping very well.... thanks again Take care

if you watched the clips you will see the cops just standing there whilst they smash and burn places down...they do not even attempt to stop them....I know they were out numbered but what gets me is government have the cheek to say they need to make cuts......police are losing there jobs.....wtf?

Symphony, I know the images and footage we got on the news were just
unfathomable...so hard to believe this was London England and not some place in the middle east...I guess the cops really weren't much good...from what it sounds like their efforts to stop the rioting were too little too late..

When one remembers the courage and spirit of Londoners through the war determined not to be beaten by continuous bombing and joking amidst the carnage. It makes one wonder what has happened to society when it destroys so wantonly. I hope you will find another job soon, I don't think it will happen again or we all might as well give up.

it's unbelievable that people here who are apart of our community was also involved.....teachers and teenagers of rich families etc ....shocking and sickening...I want to move out to the country this place where we live is not ideal for my children - I want a better life for them....

Oh Symphony George and I prayed for you and the children during this time. I had no idea it was this bad. I did know it was in London and that you could be in danger. This is terrible. God bless you.
