Translation into other paradigms
Hello Ciel.
Thank you. I also interpret most Bible stories as metaphors. For example, we see the "Tower of Babel" today in the universities. We call it the "Ivory tower". :)

You always have an interesting take on these Christian doctrines.
I look at these lists and verses as metaphors, and so translate them into other paradigms--and often discover I don't disagree with them at all.
Our Father (God, however you define It)
Who art in Heaven (who exists in a wider Reality than the physical)
Hallowed be thy name (be acknowledged with greatest respect)
Thy kingdom come, (may Your Reality become ours)
Thy will be done (may our intentions match with Yours)
On earth as it is in heaven (may our Reality live up to the values and standards of Yours)
... and so on...
