I can imagine it was a hard life, but the friendships would definitely make a difference! sam

Oh that was difficult work. We had a store, stationary place and I began working there at age 8 and most of it was on the 'books' between planting and harvesting of the crops. I want to see the photos. I counted as 1 you said. This is such a great post into the time past and in England and not the states. I truly enjoyed it.

That was what I was afraid of Kabu I hope you did not see the one I posted yesterday, I only did it because I promised. I'll find the other eventually.

Rumor I put the other photo on for about 2 hours it was after I had taken shower I held the camera out and clicked it and a gorilla appeared and would you believe the first 6 views and no comments so I wondered if it was a horror situation. Yes I'll have to look cheers.

C.C..you certainly had a busy youth between school and helping out
dad and mum...trying to do the bookkeeping in the freezing cold must have been awful...did you ever get frostbitten fingers? I always found bookkeeping hard enough in a controlled climate..
...(you took the pic down already, I assume?)
(btw, if you're reading "Shortcut", I posted another installment today, "No Turning Back"...I tried to straighten up my blog page yesterday (Tue.), but I think it caused more confusion than help. 2 or 3 more installments should finish "Shorcut")
