It's for you. It's for all of us. And people? They might be way more forgiving than you'd think. I know I've been surprised at times.

I can feel that water, the way it pours over.  The narrator almost gives up, but hope persists.

3 cheers
I'm pretty new to blogit but I'm continually impressed by the great writings, including this piece.  Keep looking up!  You are forgiven & glad you're back.

Re: Re: Dear One Listen Up
Be blessed my friend. I too know how hard it is to forgive oneself. Be blessed in all you do.

Re: Dear One Listen Up

Justi,

Fortunately this is a complete work of fiction.  I have had a relationship with Jesus for awhile now.  I do have some issues with forgiving myself right now.  That part of the poem is based on my current situation.  I assure you that I have Christ's help and will move forward.  I love your passion and enthusiasm. Thank you for your concern.

Thanks everyone!
For your wonderful comments.  This poem was outside of my usual style and it makes me feel wonderful to get such positive feedback when I try something new.

Dear One Listen Up
You do not need all those people to forgive you. You only need God to forgive you and all that requires is for you to forgive all who hurt you and simply ask Jesus for forgiveness, ask him into your heart and mean it. Forgiveness is for the person hurt not the other way around. If you hurt a lot of people then tell God you need him to forgive you for that and for those who hurt you. Jesus died for all this stuff you have, are or will do, but you have to ask him into your heart. You see when someone dies for you there is a price for receiving that total goodness of Christ. He is alive and wants to bless you, try it.

Instilled with belief and doubly potent within that reason. Well done Budguy.

This is terrific and the love of God of course is for all....God doesn't
believe in big or small sins even if we do....Sin is sin and forgivable by God.

Seeing a rainbow, after a hang over...now, I'd have to say that would be a sign of awakening for me
