My definition of God
Is the total awareness that Everything has of Itself--and of course, we are parts everything, thus of Itself. When I pray, I first reach out to get a sense of that Awareness, and acknowledge it. The things I pray for then, I find I am more likely to recieve.

I so concur with that definition. But then it's our definition and others
have a right to their own definitions too, I guess.

I like your definition.
Through my adult life, I have spent a lot of time taking God out of the box that I was taught by religion. To me, God is Spirit, I am still working on exactly what that means. I do believe, as you said, the activity of the universe is one aspect of God. Sometimes I feel like an ant wondering about quantum mechanics. Doesn't stop me from trying though.
