I was thinking that I had thought of the past and returning to a time where life seemed so much easier and carefree, but the grand ending made me think of it in a whole new perspective! Great one, too! sam

Thanks, there is a great exuberance is facing and meeting the unknown - even if it's a little frightening too

Re: Sinome

I think I am the same in wanting old and new.

I am a little intimidated by the task of finding enough poems I like to put in a book.  Maybe I should get everyone to suggest some for me :P

So, very provoking, lionreign  I happen to like the new, unexplored, and the thrills

Personally I tend to live in the past too much and I'm a little skittish of the unknown. The warmth and familiarity of my home and my loved ones, however, are what keeps me in the present.  My poetry does that for me as well.
