Right you are!
I buy hemp, I crochet with hemp, I also see it as a ridiculous example of bullshit over reason, that the deluded American law-makers ever illegalized it as a cash crop. A ball of hemp cord imported from another country costs ~$6-7 in the US, and about $2 in those countries where it's grown.
Hemp is a resilient, long-lasting, strong fiber, and in a country this full of shit, we really need our fiber!
