You would think that after a house is paid off that it would be ours, but no, we still have to rent it from our local government. I am with you, there should be a time when our home is ours free and clear.

I often wonder when more money will be in our pockets, too! I am close to the age when I can draw my retirement and even though I have planned I fear I will be woefully short of having a retirement I thought I was going to achieve all those many years ago! Good thing I have learned to make do or I would be a very unhappy soul! sam
