I joined a few years ago, but didn't subscribe until today. Blogging has become a part of my routine. Blogging will be fun if only there are readers who read. I do hope there will be more readers to stop by and read my blog.

 Keep blogging!

Re: Return to Bogit
Enjoyed the post.  I think most of my readers know why I quit Blogit. Depression and things in my life at the time took over many aspects of it but I'm glad I've returned. And I hope I am contributing to the readership/comments more this time than I did the last time. It seems I learn new things everytime I sit down here at the computer; as well as making new friends.

I just muddle along FS  on some blogs I am not fussy about comments because I just check how many come back and read and if it falls below a certain number I finish it and try something else. I don't know if we get paid by comments or viewer numbers. I'll just say it seems sad when a new person appears and writes quite nice material, receives comments for a while but does not return any. They then become disappointed and leave as it is human nature to want to be acknowledged by return.

Both Reasons and Adnohr are right, Blogit is family, and many other sites are not as advertised, but that said, it doesn't mean that there are not problems here that the owners could fix and the writers could fix as well. It would appear that there are those who write but never read which defeats one of what I thought was a basic principle here, after all it is how we get paid our widows mites, and how are we to know who reads us if they never leave us a hint that they were ever there? As far as the owners go, they could have a weekly free-read-day. It would be good advertising for them and good exposure for us... A very good post today.

I am with Adnohr, it's like a family! And your last statement I concur in absolute, too! sam

Well thought out and written, FSI. I'm not posting, because my time is extremely limited at the moment, but I come in to click & read as soon as I have a moment's break. Actualy, sometimes even when I'm not SUPPOSED to take a break, but...oh well! Blogit has become like a family.

Some return after finding other sites less easy and slower to navigate.
