ha ha, my garage is being filled up with books now.  either i shall be reading a lot or i shall find a way of getting them to people who appreciate them.

For goodness sake how awful...can't they give away a book with each
purchase?

I liked the poem, but I don't think they are burning the worlds last copies of these books, or that it is a politicial burning like in the thirties, usually these shop owners just throw out   what can't be sold. I can't emigine them destroying the climate to rid themselfs of books they could just throw in the dumster. I am more inclined to think it was some shop somewhere that a freelance writer blew out of praportions, but I will check it out with my sources just to be on the safe side...good post

PS; throwing my stuff out would be a lot like it not getting read here on Blogit...if it were worth while it would be read.

I don't think folk read so much Lauren and frankly a lot of the books are not much read. I have set of Dickens, when I was a kid we read these at school although I doubt if most most teachers were interested at the time. Perhaps you could make them into something else.
