Security is one thing but . . .
I guess in a way it's hard to blame the bank entirely. They must have to deal with actual fraud cases on a daily bases. Although not all of the circumstances are clear, obviously they made a mistake with you and your particular transaction. I went through something similar many years ago in trying to straighten out the disappearance of four ( yes four ) of my student loan payments. It took three months to clear up the mistake, and another six months to get my credit rating restored. It's very difficult to be on that side of the coin, especially when you go out of your way to do everything properly and "play by the rules." I hope it all works out for you.

WOW! I didn't have a good feeling about this one and her not responding to your emails or phone calls leads me to believe she is not on the up and up! All you can do is check with the bank and if indeed it is cleared as it shows I would want an apology from her for filing a false report! I do hope it works out and you get your home! I will have you in my prayers! sam
