All of this surprises you?
"Talk Shows" are not about an intelligent exchange of thoughts and ideas. They're beauty contests, clothing comparison duels, make-up challenges and a parade of celebrities with "I'm better than you" personalities. The fact that they're mostly by women, about women, for women, should get you very upset. It seems that every time one woman does something relatively spectacular, her accomplishment is immediately degraded by another group of women who have nothing better to do or say except to point out every negative they can find about this woman . . . her hair style, her choice of clothing, where she lives, who she married, etc., etc., etc. Sorry gals, you can't blame the men for this charade. Sometimes you do it to yourselves. One step forward, two steps back.

I don't watch TV, but I've been noticing the same trend with some magazines geared towards 'the fairer sex'. You think maybe they're trying to put us back in our place???

If "The Talk" asked you to be a guest on their program to talk about your upcoming book "Murder at 922 Holyoake Road" would you accept?  I've never watched a whole program of theirs, but I would watch the part where they interviewed you.
