Curious. Was it need or just desire? Maybe you could keep an eye out and see if she comes back to do it again?

Aluminum cans never remain in our apartment complex dumpsters until the truck comes. Once or twice a day one can see a little old man with a long stick retrieving them and putting them in his bag. He has placed a big nail or a hook or something on the end of his stick to catch hold of each.

I think some of us don't realize how fortunate we are just to have food and a place to lay our head.

Maybe she missed something in last weeks TV Guide? At my business every thursday a mother and father came to my dumpster and lifted their daughter in to hunt for aluminum cans, so I began to put them in a bag for them with a twenty dollar bill so that little girl wouldn't have to crawl through our trash.
