I know that cinnamon and honey can help with weight loss! Here is some info:
To reduce weight, daily drink a mixture of a teaspoon of honey with half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder boiled in water with an empty stomach in the morning about half an hour before breakfast. Read: Cinnamon and Honey Recipe. sam

I have a friend who is way overweight. I don't give her advice. If I did, I'd suggest drinking lots of water to provide a full feeling. It's been said that this eventually reduces one's stomach size and thus overeating, especially sweets. Who knows, she might even develop a taste for fruits and veggies instead of the donuts she admits eating at work.

we eat weight watches meals, bread rolls etc. omega 3 margarine
and at present lots of fruit and i do try to exercise. Good luck with the diet.
