There are many homeless in their camps around the river bottoms and railroad yards and bluffs, in the woods and under bridges in our city.  There are also many homeless that frequent the City Union Mission and other missions and shelters around the edges of downtown and near the City Market.  It would seem that it is getting more prevalent all the time.

There's a different agenda going on here
What many people fail to understand about this particular topic is two-fold. First, there will never be any clear-cut end to the homeless problem simply because there's no money in it for the upper one percent. If there was a way for the corporate swine to make money off of the homeless, the streets, and those mini-camps, would disappear rather quickly. And secondly, press the issue concerning the illegal immigrants and you'll have the ACLU all up in arms. It's amazing how non-citizens can still somehow garnish the same rights as people who were born and raised here. We should have closed our borders a long time ago, with a sign hung around the Statue of Liberty's neck stating "Sorry . . . we're full!"
