C.C....I feel like shobana, and hope his sadness soon leaves him....
With all that he's described so well, I feel it will.....at least, here's hoping.

I love a man who is notorious for
"...running round
With bunches of fictitious flowers
Whilst feeling gallant."
One doesn't find too many of those these days.

I share his sentiments Sam, one has to think of the future, I just hope he remembers his pledge in the years to come.

WOW! This is my mood today! I am having a tough time picking myself up and moving forward! My son is guilt ridden for no good reason and I can't find the right words to soothe! I did notice the wonderful cadence in this poem, poem, lol! But seriously you have a great aptitude for that in you longer poems! They seem long when I first start to read and before I know it I have read it! A nice gift to possess as well I might add! I got your email and will respond this evening as soon as my baseball game is over! The ace is on the mound and I am looking for a big night all the way around! You are very kind to think of Christopher! I got an email from him this morning and I had asked him if he was current on his journal! He said he just wanted to forget that place he was out! And another startling revelation is that he said the military service stops with him and he did want his kids, whenever he has them, lol, enlisting! He said there were many other ways for his kids to serve their country without going into the military! So, the soldier and service to country are in him and he will impart a true and direct course for his! I don't know if he will succeed because there is a rich history of military service in the family! I pray he is successful! He did say he had a story line though and he will glean from the notes he has take and write from there! All is not lost! Have a great evening, too! sam
