Mariposa, I think you nailed it when you said we have to EXPECT God
to speak to us, not just halfheartedly hope so...all the ways you've mentioned are very real...I find God uses a friend who is in the Word on a daily basis to be an excellent spokesperson, a trustworthy person.

Always a subject of mystery and curiosity for me; I like you revealing different ways he speaks. I try to listen, then, get it right sometimes and wrong sometimes. Of course, Biblical teaching is a guide and He will not contradict His word. Self deception is so easy in my case at least, but I know I hear God at times.
