Re: Lovely. is it a carnation? do you think it would be asking too much of you
Straightforward this is a pink, I have some carnations that are coming into flower, now sadly if one buys a bunch they are devoid of scent so at this late stage in the year, I managed to find a charming grower who grows mostly scented plants, and I have ordered about ten old fashioned scented carnations which I might try and get to flower by Christmas with a little heat in a tiny greenhouse as energy costs are going through the roof here. OF course all these flowers have names such as Devon Pride the most famous pink is called Doris first of a type that involved crossing a pink with a carnation which produced a hybrid that flowers throughout the spring and summer. So many pinks are probably like this.

Re: CC. I was never Gnomely not your domesticated little type at all
My Goodness Kabu I should think the licorice eaters wanted some place different than somewhere serving Devonshire teas. No stay away from that barn, do you have blackberry bushes in Canada. Also I might have gnome that you were not gnomely until now. Now you have a gnome that feels like there's no place like gnome.

CC. I was never Gnomely not your domesticated little type at all
there is a big place down the road from here...Bulk barn that has dried fruits and nuts and flower an almost everything in bulk supply...including lollies. They have really fresh Licorice all sorts. I try not to go there a most dangerous place.
Not far from Wagga in Australia where my son lives, there is a licorice factory and one can go through and watch the process and eat....and more eating an then stop and have a Devonshire tea before staggering back to the car.
Lovely pink again btightens up the day.
