Re:
Fist English apples Discovery, Sam do you know most apples are bred in England at East Malling . I know because I saw it on tele. The silly thing was they never had a clause like a patent and most of the apples we buy in the supermarkets originated here they are grown abroad and ruined the home market.

Christened apples. The sweet tasting trials are over. I have to announce that the sweets trialled lived up to the expectations of many moons ago. The jelly beans had distinct flavors sadly lacking in many things today, On entering the testing zone they were as expected slightly sugary which was quite nice and a softer interior invoked a rather nostalgic feeling.

The liquorice comforts were as remembered lacking in intense flavor being more sweet than flavorsome, but delighted when gently crunched to reveal that exquisite liquorice interior upon which their fame has depended.

Finally the aniseed balls, well here we have an enigma the first suck or two a little

disappointing

, but after a bit of play and patience the old magic began to work an intriguing taste of the old stuff, i must admit this passed a little too quickly and a short period of frustration was endured and then every thing collapsed and one was into the good stuff. just a small; nostalgia note for those tempted there was an atom of something in the first ball which we used to call a bogey it is at the epicenter. Remarks it would be probably be worth sucking two at once for added titillation.   I will talk about millions and thousands when I come back from the dentist.
