Beautiful and so full of hope
that we can reach the stage of selflessness.  I have certainly journeyed this path during my years of caring for my husband before he died.  I did help him go from fear of death to knowing the Love that awaited him.  His last words were"Hurry honey, I see the Light, I have to go, Come kiss me bye, I love you." He lingered for 2 more days until his nephew came to be with him and transitioned only after a sacred chakra opening and the reassurance I would be taken care of.  We are all in search of At-one-ment.

The stages make a lot of sense.

This is a marvelous post! I liked the last part reminding one to take care of the thorns, very poignant! sam

Another reference to this is embedded in the Golden Rule. Scriptures of most religions worldwide include similar meaning.
