That looks like it would have been a good decoration for our 4th of July. A boquet of those would have been quite lovely.

If I could bring all my garden inside for the winter I would
and then we would have to move out. LOL....actually I am planting more and more that will die away with winter and return in the spring...as I wrote...peeking over the local's fences helps me to learn.
Oh and I must tell you, so that the locals here understand me I have learned to speak slower and perhaps a little more English and a little less Australian drawl...a young man with his little girls approached me at the nursery recently to ask a question(his wife had sent him to buy some plants) and when I replied he said...Oh great...you're English like me!!!

This is a perpetual flowering carnation it would bloom in winter with heat.
