Gid bless your son! The travesty is that Presdient Obama has spent the country into this precarious position, and now it's everyone else's fault that we're heading for a cliff.

Sam....HE Will get paid. If you remember, when Obama was campaigning, he used these sort of scare tactics on many different issues...preferrably econonomy. The repubs are just trying to get things under control with cap cut and balance and the president is throwing a hissy.

I get a Social Security check each month and I am lost as to what is trying to be accomplished insofar as the big picture is concerned! The problem is raising the debt ceiling so the Gov't can continue to borrow money to pay the bills! The President said there would be no guarantees on what would be paid if the debt limit was not raised! He includes social security and the military to incite the masses in my humble opinion but he has only succeeded in worrying a population and probably for no real reason whatsoever! All I can say is that my son is in Afghanistan and if he doesn't get paid in August it will be a travesty! sam
