You are such a good sister! I can imagine the nights would be difficult with the breathing! I love it that Bird keeps his sense of humor about him, I think it makes the road he's on a little easier to travel! I continue to pray for you and Bird! Man alive a hockey game would be good right about now! I talked to Christopher a few days ago and things are fairly calm for him in Afghanistan! He said they are preparing the installations to look less military like for the transition to the Afghani military and police! The earliest he can get out of there is December 15, and the latest is January 15! So the time is winding down and I will be ever so grateful when it is over! Big hugs and a smile to you too! sam

Thinkin' of you folks lots and praying for you as well.My brother Dan has lung cancer now, and he has had a colostomy bag for many years now. You have a lot of love in your family, God Bless you all.

I will continue to keep the two of you in my thoughts & prayers. I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but, I'm a cancer survivor. Glad he's able to keep his sense of humor. Being strong like that really helps a great deal.

Dear One I have been missing you and we are praying for both of you. It brought good tears to my eyes the way you two can block out the world almost. You two are so brave, just walking on down the road of life in laughter and wit. That is so precious. George and I love you both and we will keep praying.
