That was a very poignant and heartfelt poem of the heartland, very captivating! Nice work on the translation because I believe it has to be difficult! sam

So ie you there...one never stops thinking of where they were born no

matter how dear the new country may become.

And that war to end all wars......it was just the beginning! thank you, i enjoyed thiss read.

I enjoyed this very much.  It reminded me how my Grandmother and Grandfather used to talk about and yearn for "The Old Country" which in their hearts and minds was Bohemia.
