Thank you! They certainly are, I think it's almost impossible to find a way to slow down in a city

I think I shall chose to remain ambiguous on that point and let you place it where you will

It's easy to get caught up in the "quick quick quick" culture of modern life and many people never learn to take their time. I relish the moments when I can do that

Oh I don't mind know what they're up to, just so long as they don't expect me to join in

What a vivid picture of a city! Everyone is in too much of a rush.

Isn't that the truth! A high rise office building, a busy turnpike, or a crowded downtown street with people jostling one another continuously - I think you've captured the feelings of a lot of us as we just watch and wonder, where is everyone going??.

And I wonder where it is? Is it the office? Or a railway station? A bus shelter? The library even?

This reminds me of the hustle and bustle of the city I live in; folks always seem to be in a hurry to go nowhere! I am reminded of those who pass only to turn off the road within a few feet! I often wonder what the hurry is when life is to be viewed and enjoyed along the way! sam

I wonder what that man is thinking as we scurry backwards and forwards perhaps he is a poet. Like Lawry or whatever his name is who painted this scene. Life like Lion.
