again i state that the terrible tragedy here is a little girl is gone and
she seems to have been lost in the circus of the trial and verdict. I don't understand the way the family behaved either.....it all leaves a bad taste  for me.

I was shocked by the verdict! She was the last one to see Caylee alive
or at least one of the last. I never bought the drowning/George Anthony story. I mean if a child is found in a pool by adults who love her, 911 is going to be called in a desperate attempt to save her no matter how hopeless it may appear..and they would be trying to resuscitate her until help arrived..a real life scenario played out countless times.
I don't think the grandparents were involved or that they were abusive; I think they blindly trusted and believed their daughter - until they could not. And I think continue to love her unconditionally. Made many mistakes no doubt in raising her and thinking she could be a responsible parent, but there is no such thing as perfect parents. But still most kids don't become destroyers of their own children. So tragic all the way around for this family, especially for a beautiful little girl who will never experience the joys of growing up. I don't have much sympathy for Casey though..
Sorry to go on, just my perspective.

I can't answer for her. God knows and that is the ultimate judgement. According to our judicial system she was to be considered innocent until proven guilty. There was to have been evidence enough to prove her guilty beyond a doubt and there was not. I wonder how many women who had has abortions and still threw stones at her.
