What would Thumbalina do?
WWTD ... good thing you saved Bug-Bug.  Now I want one though.

Modern medicine can still be so slow and frustrating, especially

if it's our child we need answers and help for. I saw a program tonight about a woman with autism and aspergers - she had a rough start; childhood (born in 1947 when medicine was really unhelpful for such conditions) but she went on to a Ph.D and is a successful author and speaker. Perhaps you have heard of her?

Hang in there, Dear Spitfire and keep the Bug-bugs safe!..:)

You should be glad she didn't throw Bug-Bug just to tease or defy you :-)

This has to be a most frustrating time! I know it would be wonderful to have all the answers but it seems you will need to wait a while longer! I was glad she listened and pulled bug-bug back it! I was expecting her to keep going her own way on this one! Hang tough Mom, it will all come together for everyone! I believe it! sam

Aww, thanks Rumor!
And I think Bug-Bug has recovered from her traumatic experience!

Spitfire, it has to be continually frustrating to hear the same thing
over and over again (even this comment is probably monotonous to you)....I had to deal with some autistic adults when I was working, but at least knew that after 8 hrs I could go home...you have to deal with this 24/7....you're in my thoughts and prayers, as are the kids....(and bug-bug, too...)

So frustrating when you have to follow procedure, but learn nothing new. I can picture your near-panic with the bug-out-the-window episode! All in all,  not an easy day. Warm thoughts and prayers for you, super-mom!

The good mother that I know you are, you will get beyond the
rough spots in the road...hang in there, my friend!

No your life is never dull you poor darling.....but Bug Bug is safe
thankfully....and the meeting seems somewhat pointless when you are so busy....but of course everything has to follow the procedure manual.
