My honeymoon was spent camping at Bryce Canyon Park, similar to Zion. Beautiful colors!

Kabu, I always look for these little natural gardens

and of course I love when rocks and plants come together. 

Tucked into a stony crevice, or close to a stone surface that both absorbs and reflects heat and sunlight, a tender plant has a better chance, like a soul protected in "the hollow of His hand..." to quote from the old Irish blessing.

Because I am doing Rockeries where some plants at least can resist the snow
I was interested to study how the plants place themselves and survice in nature with rocks and heat etc. Thank you, lovely pictures.
