Well it wouldn't take you long Sam I grow most of mine in pots and containers, but if you are any good at rough digging come in the autumn

The old dears used to have Mother Simkins RR. a white pink; scented but it always burst it's calyx. It has thrown some sports but I have not tried them for this reason. Sadly many of the new varieties have no scent. If one buys a bunch of carnations hardly a whiffle. I have just sent for half a dozen of the old perpetual flowering variety. They are suppose to still retain a perfume, we shall see.

I think one of the things I would like to put on bucket list is tour your gardens and view your beautiful flowers! So maybe I will pop in to see you one of these days! I have a passport and the world is mine so to speak! sam
