I prefer blogs that are simplistic in nature and I suspect it is because I am like you, I get into words more than the visual, too! sam

Re: site for magazine
I could probably help you with this. Send me an e-mail with your outline ideas?

I'm considering doing a cybermagazine even tho I'm retired from publishing a successful paper version. The main hold-back is designing a site - something simple, yet attractive. Any ideas?

Well done Malcolm, it is all out there if one can find it. It is new that is the beauty of it all by the time it hits the library things have moved on.

Your skill set sounds intensely useful for an IT support environment - I spend half my time seeking answers to issues online :D

Glad things are going well. Just saw your Trainsform site--well done! My son Ashish liked it too. He's left yahoo and gone into consultancy--pray it works out!
