I will not add anything else but, carry tweezers with you --- LOL - you're doing the right things for good, best health Strat.  How funny.  Elyse

LOL, too Funny, Strat!
Your wife is very lucky cuz you make the years piling on or flying by fun..:)
I've heard tell "mature" women react in a similar fashion when they find that first chin hair, haha..Now I'm wondering - out of pure curiosity, of course - what it is those women do whilst their male counterparts are feeding pigeons..

Aw, Sam, I doubt you have anything to worry about, either.
My Beloved worries about chin hairs, but only she can see them, apparently...

This is true, Kabu!
Any day watching grass grow rather than roots descend is a good one to me...

Strat...
Damn fine writing!  But wait till you get on the other side of middle age.  I'm 64 but most people (at least say) think I'm younger.  I don't know how they miss my eyebrows that are doing their best Donald Trump hairpiece imitations on my forehead.

sadly old ish chap......it will be all down hill soon.....but this is an
excellent piece of writing and I tell you what it is better to be one of the oldies around than one of the beautiful young corpses. They can't annoy the hell out of their heirs.

Oh, Lordy, Sir Strat.
Well, now you know how I feel being 41 and constantly discovering single hairs suddenly sprouting from places they should not be. I have to check daily for the chin hairs, too. My tweezers are never far from my reach. One ear hair, yeah, though shocking, it happens. And it will continue to happen, my friend. No worries!

you could consider it a virgin sacrifice of a sort...
your first one... and with likelihood of there being more to follow.
