That sort of thing is in every walk of life.  It seems that so often, what a person fights for (or against) somehow overwhelms him and perverts his intentions and cause him to become his own enemy.

The cause can very well be effected by what the people in power do.

  Straight, such a sin and typical of behaviours...I would hope that the individuals would be gleaned out and made to resign.  Sadly, I think that employees sometimes, don't really know how to go about 'informing or telling' about a situation such as...Elyse

Hopefully the would be exposed and dealt with according to their infraction! At the very least they are hypocrites! sam

I used to work for a charity
that was set up to help old people. Unfortunately many of the 'senior staff' who came in because of their experience were actually of retiring age and helped themselves to whatever they could - presumably to supplement their imminent pension plans?

people seem to have this darker side ...it really is sad though and yes any
thing noted should be reported.

If damaging their credibility is not enough, it can also create public distrust in nonprofits overall.
