Sinpme
Thunder usually makes me apprehensive, probably because of the lightening that precedes it.You have a lovely way of turning it into a pleasantry luv.

Thunder makes me restless with some primevasl longing for the storm to
finally break. It is difficult to describe...I have heard stories that one of my Grandmothers was the same.

Beautiful!  Gorgeous imagry.  I love a thunderstorm arriving, even when we don't really need any more rain.

Perhaps you were frightened as a child Simone, but if it inspires you to write it is a mixed blessing. I usually swear and switch off the computer as  cannot often read my own writing.

Fabulous!  Your imagery is sublime and the pace of this poem just sweeps up the reader and carries them along xoxoxox

You are such a great from the heart poet. Don't waste the now mourning the past. Many things come only for a season and some of our dreams are those things. They are here for a time and gone forever, but they left you with a gift, a spot in your spirit and an added love of something or someone. Be blessed my dear friend.
