Re:
Beautiful summation and yes I agree dear Shelly

LOL, yes, oh do bring Owen the Owl back for old times sake. I have that one that flys and perches near my home in Fredericksburg. He lives across my avenue near a creek but I believe he comes to visit me or take a closer look at my pups

so I've heard. You should have seen the size of this hawk last time I was there. It literally brushed truly close to me and perched on a low tree branch and I grabbed at Franco - but I also looked for something to protect us. He was HUGE. Yes, I believe it had been well fed - maybe on the cattle? I don't know - Elyse

It is about ethereal when we are in the earthly form but I believe in the eternalness of the union made on earth, too! I loved the owl for it reminded me of my own poem about Owen the Owl! lol Shelly

Re:

Why thank you dear ChCh - what a lovely endearment and I so enjoy your comments always. I'm glad you liked that owl. I have been working on it, an unfinished canvas - using acrylics and I'm not enjoying as much as watercolors but, thank you so much - and the butterfly - yes, they are here and few and far between - I really think our heat is making things 'sleepy' - I enjoyed your interpretation of my poem here ChCh - yes, common sense does prevail - always seemingly with me. Re:

Sinome - a week of another heat wave and my goodness but you live near the water eh? I would imagine you have cool days and if not you could get near the water? I've put my sprinkler on high to not only water my gardens but when I move it then I let it spray me - feels wonderful and thank you, yes, it's a good week...and you, and your Grandson? xoxox Elyse

A beautiful Blog EE. I adore your owl with such luminous eyes your butterfly reminded me I saw a really unusual one as I was strimming the grass perhaps it was a Moth it has been a good year for butterflies having been dry but I have not seen many perhaps they are in the fields and will visit when the crops are harvested. Your poem was great I expect we all seek the little wild and unattainable at times, but common sense prevails luckily.
