I've always had a fancy for the gypsy! This was rather good too! sam

Like it.  There is a country song like the ending.  It can be better not to know, but maybe usually not.  The carefree life in the open has it's appeal.

Aw this one touched my heart - Gypsy poetry, stories, romance and paths --- you know I don't recall if I told you but my antique corner is called, "GYPSY POETRY" - and when my colleagues, friends and now family see me travelin' they tell me, they would know my 'gypsy van' from anywhere.  ~ Sad how we sometimes do lose out on the 'one' that could have - should have been.  Good writing as always, ChCh ~

Great poem - it just carries you along.  It always seems that we regret missed opportunities more than mistakes, doesn't it?

Re: Such a picture you have written here just as well the gypsy boy moved along

It was funny Kabu a gypsy woman called on me about a year ago. I asked about her Mother.

Died she said and my husband. She looked in my very unruly kitchen and said you keep things nice and clean / Goodness I thought I can't see her making any improvement.

Such a picture you have written here just as well the gypsy boy moved along
that night, she may have lived a different life otherwise.

CHIFFCHAFF
Well being a Gypsy you just couldn't give up your freedom I suppose even for passion.
