Re:
Not so many things as most people Taps and I never had time until I retired. Actually this was not much work I just filled the containers with a soil mix topped with peat compost and then planted last years pinks into them. I was going to give them to a woman, but she annoyed me over several things so she will have to wait and have the old plants in the Autumn. It was nothing really I saved her some auriculas and then she did not want them.

Re:
Well RR. it is not too difficult, but it is becoming expensive to buy compost and plants, but of course one propagates one's own plants. I think one needs a little bit of protection in the winter also..

Looks like you have really put in a lot of work there.
I don't know which is best with you, your gardening, your photography or your poetry. Actually, I'm glad that you do all three. What else can you do?

Re: busy hands make beautiful things...in your case anyway.
One has to be careful to not indulge in too large a container Kabu and getting the right compost is getting more tricky, we all have been using too much peat. The trouble is the substitutes are pretty grotty.
