The first TV I saw had a wee round screen and it had a soap on or something I couldn't see well. I wasn't impressed either.

I need to read the one you started yesterday. But maybe I'll just wait until the second chapter gets posted since I'm late anyway and since I like to keep going once I start a story. In the meantime, I can't remember the first time I saw TV but I know it was at a neighbor's house because my mom & dad never did get a TV until after I was long gone from home. Hubby and I never did get one until sometime in 1961.

We didn't get a TV.....until 1966 and it was sad how quickly i stopped
playing the piano in the evenings. i had seen TV before that but my parents just couldn't see the point of owning one when we were all so busy on the farm

I remember Hopalong..
I remember Micky Mouse Club... Robin Hood... Annie Oakley!
I watched Lawrence Welk with my grandma, and my sister and I thought highly of the Lennon Sisters.
Now and then all the channels would be filled with a boring bald old man who talked and talked and talked and was no fun at all.
