I have said I was going to leave a few times, but I am still here :).   The saddest way to leave is to get kicked off!

yours truly has the habit of deleting blogs - when life gets over the top, full - too rich and at times overwhelming I do the best I can - and well, you said it all here FSI - I feel blessed when I can come back on and read a bit again...Life is about change, isn't it? ~ Elyse

I agree; they should leave the way it makes them most comfortable! sam

I miss those Bloggers who I am used to reading, then they disappear, with warning or not. Intriguing post, FSI, and am happy you are not planning on leaving!

FSI, I've thought every year at subscription renewal time

that I'd have to leave, and just stated so in my blogs...fortunately things worked out and I didn't have to leave...only have the three blogs this year but that is better than I was expecting...and five could come back, maybe, once Blogit pays me for last year.

Sure I take breaks, some announced or explained, others not...if I ever did permanently leave, I wouldn't just disappear into thin air with no warning or good byes...

I have had ups and downs with writing and deleted blogs, closed
my account without warning; always came back though...:) I ended my early day fee of $5.95 per mo./unlimited blogs, so not the best thought out thing I've ever done!
Interesting post.

I, for one, pay Blogit by the year so I am all paid up until next February.  In the meantime, if I should disappear for a period of time, it is not because I have left permanently.

Hi FS,

It disappoints me when bloggers leave without saying goodbye.  I hope you are not leaving.

Hi FS I suppose the circumstances probably make a difference Time and time again and I have not been here that long, One sees a blogger jump on and post dozens of blogs before one even realizes it is happening. I expect disillusionment takes over quickly when there is hardly any response. I did for an experiment place some poems on a different site since January I have had a few looks at my profile and not one person has looked at the poems let alone comment. Not a good reply. I think I would give a little bit of notice.
