That's so funny you got it down to the amount of minutes, Raye!
Thanks so much for reading this and catching up. It's a bit therapeutic for me

Oh, I remember my first one - 16 hours and twenty six minutes
to be exact. You had an agonizing experience too, but we lived eh?...:) I've been reading, now catching up, Spitfire - solid, well done writing!

Yellowrose,
Yeah, I think it is due to having less room in the torso than taller women. I know so many tall women that just pushed them out no problem. I'm quite jealous about that! The good thing about both my kids is I never got stretch marks so I guess there's the balance!

Wow... many women who are small framed have such a hard time with giving birth. 19hrs... that's a long labor.  You must be a very strong person... mentally and physically. And you seem to always find the humor.

LOL Sir Strat!!
Yeah, I must agree with that. I don't think you men could even handle getting a period each month! Feel lucky! Hey, thanks for reading this!!

Lucky you, Taps!!
I'm just glad I won't have to go through another pregnancy or delivery (hopefully) again!

I think I just fainted...

This is another one of those things that prove the human race would long since have become extinct if guys had to have babies. Holy shmoly!

Been through it four times, but I think I must have had an easier time of it than you.
My deliveries all seemed to be pretty normal.  (no doggies involved)

Yep, Sam, I sure was.
Definitely not something I ever want to experience again! (Had a C-Section with my son...then had them "close up the factory at the same time. Whew!) LOL

Well, Kabu,
The doctor actually wanted to do a C-section because it was taking so long. He was a JERK. I asked him if the baby or I was in physical distress and he said no. So, I said, "Well, I can struggle through the rest of this. I've come this far. It seems like you just want to cut me open to get it over with." He kind of glared at me....(Like I care? LOL) I mean, why do major surgery if it isn't medically necessary? I think he was just late for a golf game or something.

LOL Rumor! Yeah, my dog knew!
M did stick it out with me but slept a lot before I had to start pushing. I wanted him to sleep so I let him. I tried to sleep a bit as well but couldn't. Thanks so much for reading this! New post tomorrow and it will get much more interesting!

That was too long and didn't really go as it should have...yes I bet
it made your eyes water!

Spitfire, isn't that interesting the dog knew well before you went
into labor (lol, and your hubby, too, in bed dressed, and ready to go....)...my goodness, 19 plus 5 = 24 hrs of labor!  What an ordeal. Did your hubby stick it out with you?  I would have been as nervous as all get out and likely pacing the halls.....
