I remember wearing a brace after snapping my collar bone! Wish I DIDN'T!
After having worn that cotton-padded clunky, creaky metal brace, one that kept my arm elevated uncomfortably above head level continuously, and only being able to sponge bathe, for NINE whole WEEKS, that period remains clearly memorable to this very day. It allowed people to determine ofactorially, that I was approaching, from several corners and at least two hallways, distance away.
When it was time to remove the brace, my female parent took me to our shaman-doctor's cave (remember this was a very, very LONG time ago) and my arm remained locked stubbornly in place, well after the brace was taken from below my armpit.
Dr. Daffy Quack grabbed ahold of my offending, elevated, left upper-arm appendage, and with NO advance warning whatsoever, that wretched wretch wrenched my arm quickly downward, shrunken and shortened tendons and muscles, would either stretch, tear, or be damned.
If it were possible, I would have cheerfully flayed the skin from Dr Daffy's body with a biblical leather scourge, and then revived him, dipped him in vinegar, and then rolled him in salt.
That insensitive, insufferible, impatient Dr Daffy Quacker just didn't feel like waiting around, for me stop whining and whimpering, to take the time to humanely let my arm drop slowly and naturally, back to it's original position of strength.
There went my chance to regain for the third and most likely the last time, my final "World Arm Wrestling Championship" trophy. I'm not a spring chicken anymore, you know.

How is your circulation love...does that leg get enough blood supply.
do you exercise that leg as much as you can? I am sure you do. But yes do get on top of this darling....i am worried though.
